Institute on Political Journalism Internship- Washington DC

The Fund for American Studies is currently accepting applications for the 2016 Institute on Political Journalism (IPJ) in Washington, DC. Please forward the announcement below to any PRSSA members who may be interested in spending this summer in our nation’s capital.

 

Sponsored by The Fund for American Studies in partnership with George Mason University, the program is an 8-week summer academic internship program that offers undergraduate students real-world experience in journalism or public relations through:

 

•        A guaranteed internship at a news outlet or public relations firm

•        Courses for credit in economics, journalism and public policy

•        Exclusive lectures, briefings and professional development seminars

•        Housing in the heart of Washington, DC

 

Building on what you have taught them in the classroom, we are committed to providing an educational experience that will prepare your students for successful careers as reporters, radio & television producers, editors, and skilled professionals in strategic communications.
