Thanks for the referral, Penny, and thanks for your quick reply, Angela!
My colleague, Larry O’Reilly (copied on this message), is recruiting for our next intern in PPG’s corporate communications group – right down the street in One PPG Place. We’re specifically seeking a recent grad who is able to work 40 hours/week, and the internship is a paid contract position at $20/hour. I’ve attached a document with more details about the position, which is really more like an entry-level job than an internship. It touches on PPG’s corporate community engagement as well, because our Corporate and Government Affairs department encompasses the PPG Foundation, corporate marketing and government affairs along with corporate communications.
We’re discovering that it’s very difficult to find strong writers, and I’m hoping Point Park can provide some candidates with strong journalism skills. We would appreciate any help you can provide in finding worthy candidates.
Our current intern is leaving next Friday after starting with us last fall, so we’re looking to fill the position soon.
Thank you very much!,
K.C.
